Lawmakers shed tears over Katsina killings

Katsina State House of Assembly chamber become become a weeping area on Tuesday over the recent killings of over 30 villagers in Batsari Local Government Area of the country.
The member representing Batsari constituency, Alhaji Jabiru Yau-yau, raised the difficulty at plenary underneath subjects of pressing public interest.

News Agency of Nigeria reviews that the member representing Jibia constituency, Alhaji Mustapha Yusuf, opened the flood gate of tears while contributing to the motion and different individuals joined in, losing tears over the killings.

“While we appreciate the efforts of Governor Aminu Masari, we need the Federal Government to also come to our resource,” he stated.

In his contribution, the member representing Danmusa, Aminu Garba, advised communities to guide protection corporations in identifying criminals around them for suitable action.

The perpetrators of the act are not pseudo human beings, people must assist in fishing them out, Garba stated, and entreated safety operatives to intensify efforts to carry them to ebook.

“We need Katsina stakeholders beneath Governor Masari to fulfill with President Muhammadu Buhari because this is the maximum terrible crime that has ever occurred within the country.

“The stakeholders and Mr President need to look for a manner to nip the state of affairs in the bud,” he said.

The Speaker, Alhaji Tasiu Musa, and different members of the residence unanimously resolved to send relief materials to the affected regions.
